The Cats
We’ve had many cats over the years, but right now, our main residents are Marcy, Pecker and Mr. Edwina Wiggles. Sometimes Grey Kitty comes over to play.
Marcy Heidrickman
We got Marcy, in 2001, from the Lawrence Humane Society. She is a really big fan of snuggling, shedding, getting in the way and being fluffy.
Pecker Heidrickman
Pecker… was the only thing we could name him. Pecker is fond of loving and fighting, and the joy of “love bites” – Pecker came to live with Rob in the summer of 2001, nobody could figure out why Pop didn’t like having this cat around… we found out why. In general, he is the biggest jerk and loviest cat. It’s so confusing.
Mr. Edwina Wiggles
Mr. Edwina Wiggles was “Ed” once upon a time and “Mr. Wiggles” – because Rob just knew this kitten had to be a boy. It was so… forward. Mr. Wiggles came to be known as Mr. Edwina Wiggles when we had to have her spayed. Don’t you think she looks *just* like Deborah Messing? Rob does.
